Top Dawg going green? Top Dawg has always been an environmentally sensitive company.

As a remanufacturing and refurbishing company,  recycling is what we do.  Top Dawg literally

prevents over 100 tons of office furniture being dump into our landfills yearly.

Top Dawg contributes environmentally through the reuse of office cubicles.  Our entire process

is gear to helping our environment.

The panel upholstery division strips panels of  their existing fabric and recovers with customers choice of fabric.

The old fabric is reused as packing material thus eliminating the need for styrofoam or plastic packaging.  New fabric can be selected from among our  three lines of fabric.  One of which offers material made from recycle plastic bottles.

The work surface division reuses existing work surface by resurfacing with new laminate.   The old laminate surface is scored

with a belt sander and spray adhesive is applied than the new laminate is set in place.  Our spray adhesive has low VOC's

which help to keep our air clean.

The painting process is uses low VOC two part catalyst electrostatic paint process.  All painting is done in contained spray booth and meets all local and state requirements with regards to emissions.  The electrostatic process itself has a less than 5% overspray thus reducing the amount of waste.  All solvents are collected and recycled.

Top Dawg's remanufacturing process is just one way we can contribute to help keep our environment clean.

Top Dawg Modular Service has recently partnered with Tri-City Chiropractic.

For 19 years Dr. Renetta Shearer has been committed to helping individuals reach optimal health, with alternative methods.

Her success in treating carpal tunnel, headaches, low back pain, neck pain, sleep problems, and stress (just to name a few!) is what makes this an ideal partnering opportunity.  Improper office ergonomics are quite often the cause of the above mention ailments.     Through preventative Free Ergonomic Workshops, Dr. Shearer is able to help identify problem areas within in the workspace and offer corrective solutions.  Proper ergonomics within the workplace help to reduce loss time due to workplace injury as well as increase employee productivity.  If you would like to know more about the workshops offered please contact us at Top Dawg Modular Service and we would be happy to assist in setting up your Free Ergonomic Workshop.

Week of December 5th 2005

2005 has been quite a year for charitable donations.  Funds, services and products have all been offered in support of disaster victims.  While this is a great cause, local not- for-profit agencies have seen a downturn in contributions.  In efforts to help Top Dawg Modular Service has responded to the call for furniture items from two local NFP agencies.  Pregnancy Care Center and National Brain Tumor Foundation.  Top Dawg has  provided items at no cost or offered discounts on items at or near cost.  Top Dawg Modular Service will continue to look for ways to help local NFP organizations.
